CULTURAL ACTIVITIES
• Distribution of children's books and stories: "Choubbak Amal" distributed in April 2011 many children's books and stories in Juber neighborhood, then moved the distribution process to Qaboun neighborhood until August 2012. • Documentation of Syrian cultural heritage: "Choubbak Amal" organization supported an educational project under the name of (how to perform the Syriac musical ladders) done by a group of students in (Prince Claus Conservatoire- Groningen). It is a project aiming to document and spread the old Syrian heritage. • Supporting young bands: "Choubbak Amal" supported a young band to release a musical album (Ya Lateef) 2016.
SCHOLARSHIPS
"Choubbak Amal" offered many scholarships in the Bekaa/Lebanon to Syrian refugees from 2013 till 2015 for the primary, elementary and high school stages, the scholarships were divided into two categories:
− Full scholarship: it includes the school tuition as well as the transportation fees and the house rent
Partial scholarship: it includes the school tuition and the transportation fees only.
The number of students exceeded 150.
"Choubbak Amal" offered a college scholarship in Turkey as well, it included all the student's expenses in 2015.
EDUCATION IN SYRIA:
"Choubbak Amal" established two schools in Al Moadamyeh. The first one in early 2014 under the name "Al Makarem primary school" until August 2014, after that it was named "Choubbak Amal". The change occurred in order to expand the school and enable the enrollment of more students, whereas the second school was established in September 2015 and was named "Al Rouwad". "Choubbak Amal" took responsibility for the continuity of the school's work and management, providing books and stationery for the students, teachers' salaries and daily meals. "Choubbak Amal" school aims at making up for the delay caused by the war, and providing an educational pattern different from the common sources whether it is ideological, religious or educational. In order to make the work easier and empower women, 39 ladies were hired for administration and teaching positions. The number of students in both schools exceeded 680.
